70 years of Agust history: our idea of coffee goes back a long way.
In 2026, Caffè Agust celebrates its 70th anniversary. An important milestone that is not simply about the passing of time, but above all about a way of understanding coffee: with care, responsibility, and attention to every detail.
In 2026, Caffè Agust celebrates 70 years in business. For us, this anniversary is more than just a company milestone: it is an opportunity to tell the story of a journey that began in Brescia in 1956 and has grown, generation after generation, around a clear idea of coffee: artisanal, conscious, traceable, and deeply rooted in quality in the cup.
Seventy years captured in a single coffee bean, as several publications have written while covering this important moment in our history. It is a story that began with Augusto and Mariarosa Corsini, founders of a small artisan coffee roastery in Brescia, and has now reached the third generation of the Corsini family.

Over the years, we have grown, expanded our facilities and invested in technology, research, training and sustainability. Yet the principle that guides us has remained the same: to give coffee the value it deserves, respecting the raw material, the people who grow it, those who process it and those who serve it every day.
A roastery born in Brescia, built around a clear vision
Our story began in 1956, when Augusto and Mariarosa Corsini founded Caffè Agust. From that first artisan roastery came a journey shaped by constant evolution, attention to quality and a strong family identity.
Today, the company is led by the Corsini family, with Marco, Giovanni and Daniele committed to carrying forward a vision that combines experience, innovation and coffee culture.

Over the years, we have chosen not to limit ourselves to coffee production, but to develop a broader model encompassing origin selection, careful roasting, quality control, technical support, training and services for professionals in the Ho.Re.Ca. sector.
For us, coffee has never simply been a product to sell. It is a world to discover, understand and share.
Pura Vita Caffè: a Gruppo Agust brand, built on the same coffee culture
Pura Vita Caffè was born from this very story.
It is the Gruppo Agust brand created to bring our experience to people in a more immediate, everyday and recognisable way. A more vibrant, accessible line, closer to the language of cafés and consumers, yet built on the same foundations that have guided the Agust roastery for 70 years: quality, consistency, service and attention to every cup.
When we talk about Pura Vita, we are therefore talking about a project that looks towards the present and future of coffee with a fresh and accessible identity, while preserving the value of the experience developed by the group over decades.
Behind every blend, every production choice and every proposal for cafés lies the know-how of a roastery that, for three generations, has worked to make coffee a central part of the café experience.
70 years and the opening of our roastery
To celebrate this anniversary, we chose to open the doors of our roastery to the public. A symbolic gesture, but also a very tangible one: an opportunity to show what happens before coffee reaches the cup.
The visits organised to celebrate our 70th anniversary allow guests to step into the heart of our daily work: from green coffee selection and roasting to packaging and tasting, all the way to our Coffee Academy.
It is not simply a company tour, but an immersive journey designed to bring people closer to coffee culture and help them understand the value behind an everyday gesture such as drinking an espresso.
“Coffee is part of everyday life, yet it is often consumed without truly knowing its story, its complexity or the work it requires. Opening the doors of our roastery means sharing our journey and allowing people to see first-hand what lies behind every cup.”

For us, this is the most authentic meaning of the anniversary: not simply looking back, but opening a dialogue with the people who drink coffee, prepare it and choose it every day.
A recognition that confirms our direction
For us, 2026 comes at a particularly significant moment. Caffè Agust was named Roastery of the Year in the 2026 Guida Caffè e Torrefazioni d’Italia by Gambero Rosso, a recognition that rewards consistent quality, ethical production and the ability to create coffees with a distinctive personality.

It is an achievement that makes us proud, but above all one that we see as a responsibility. Every important recognition brings with it the duty to continue improving and to remain consistent between what we communicate and what we put into every cup, every day.
For us, quality has never been a slogan. It is daily work built on tasting, controls, relationships with producers, barista training and attention to every detail throughout the supply chain.
Looking ahead, without forgetting where we came from
Seventy years of history does not mean remaining tied to the past. On the contrary, for us it represents a solid foundation from which to continue evolving.
Over the years, we have developed different projects, from historic blends and organic and Fairtrade lines to specialty coffees and single-origin coffees from the Agust EVO range, created to highlight distinctive, balanced coffees capable of expressing the unique characteristics of each individual origin in the cup.

Pura Vita Caffè is part of this journey, with a clear mission: to bring Agust quality closer to the everyday lives of cafés, coffee shops and consumers, through a direct, recognisable and contemporary language.
Because today, coffee can no longer be treated as a secondary detail.
In a venue, the espresso is often the final memory the customer takes away with them. It closes a breakfast, a lunch, a break or a meeting. And that is precisely why it deserves attention.
Our idea of coffee, 70 years later
After 70 years, we still believe that coffee is much more than a beverage.
It is culture.
It is connection.
It is craftsmanship.
It is territory.
It is the result of a supply chain that begins far away and reaches the cup only after countless choices have been made.
Through Pura Vita Caffè, we carry this vision forward in a simple, tangible and everyday way. We want to stand alongside cafés and hospitality businesses not only with a good product, but with a broader project: technical support, training, guidance and practical tools to enhance the role of coffee at the point of sale.
Because our story began in 1956, but it continues every day. In our roastery, in cafés, in the hands of those preparing an espresso and in the people who choose to drink it.
Seventy years later, our goal remains the same: to make coffee well, tell its story better and bring greater value to every cup.
